Directions
Air Fried Ricotta Fig Crostini is the perfect appetizer this autumn to impress your guests with. This is a quick, easy and delicious crostini you can prepare with fresh and seasonal ingredients.
Since figs are in season, I have been enjoying trying various recipes in the Air fryer, using them. That being said, be sure to check out the Air Fried Bacon wrapped Figs if you are a figs fan, like me. Growing up, my grandma had a Fig tree in her backyard and I recall eating them straight from its branches. Nowadays, it is a great memory that I reminisce with each bite of juicy fig.
The Air fryer softens and caramelizes the figs, bringing out the juices and sweetness of the fruit. In addition, the mild flavor of the Ricotta cheese pairs very well with the figs. On top of this, the fresh thyme ties it all together nicely. You can alternatively use some fresh rosemary if you have handy or sprinkle with some honey, if you like your meals extra sweet.
All in all, these Air fried Ricotta Fig crostini are perfect for entertaining. Add some Air fried Prosciutto Peaches and Garlic Toast, or even a Baked Camembert, and call it a party!
