Air Fried Mini Apple Pies are an easy and quick dessert that I have been meaning to try in the Air fryer. Today we are going to compare the traditional cooking method of baking the pies in the oven versus air frying them.

I do not know about you, but apple pie is one of my favorite desserts. I just love the combination! The tangy apples, the sweet sugar and vanilla and, of course, the unique warm flavor of the cinnamon. The ingredients of this dessert just scream A-U-T-U-M-N to me.

Now, since I use the air fryer for quick recipes, I decided to test which cooking method is actually better. It is important to question traditional method and better yourself with time.

The results were, to be honest, pretty similar. The air fryer did take less time, as expected. Additionally, it did not require any pre heating. However, I did feel that the crust of the oven baked ones was cooked better. Therefore, my conclusion here is that both methods work. You just need to decide how much time and what equipment you have on hand!
