AirFryer Fail – AirFried Zucchini Fail
AirFryer Fail – AirFried Zucchini Fail
My first attempt at AirFried Zucchini Sticks did not go as planned. It definitely can be considered as one of my many Airfryer Fails, this time a Airfried Zucchini Fail.
What I did wrong – to peel or not to peel?
First of all, to begin with, the Zucchini Sticks may work better if you actually peel them. I am not saying that by not peeling, you would be going towards an Airfryer Fail. However, the breadcrumbs will stick better to the surface.
What I did wrong – to flour or not to flour?
Second of all, a lot of the Airfryer recipes I have read mention that you should add flour to the breadcrumbs mixture. I have had experience so far only with AirFried Crunchy Chicken where I do not add any flour. Naturally and using the same logic, I did decide not to add any flour. Some Airfryer recipes mention that you can replace the flour with cornstarch. I am yet to try this technique.
In Conclusion – Airfried Zucchini Fail
Overall, the taste and the crunch of the Zucchini Sticks were on point. I must say that also the temperature and length of airfrying I went with did turn out correct. I just need to work out now how to ensure the breading sticks to the actual Zucchinis.
Stay tuned for my second attempt and keep your Airfryer on!
