AirFryer Fail – AirFried Ice Cream Coconut balls
As experimenting with my airfryer is something I like to do on a daily basis, I decided to embark on a journey of discovering how to airfry ice cream. This is how the idea of AirFried Ice Cream Coconut balls was born.
My first attempt, documented in the video above, is an epic fail to say the least.
I did add both coconut milk and ice cream which made the mixture very liquid. To correct my poor decision, I added on top a bunch of coconut flour. The mixture then turned out quite easy to form into ice cream balls. Since this was my goal, I was very excited for what’s next.
I froze the balls overnight and then placed in the airfryer. Little did I know that the coconut flour I used so successfully to fix my mess, made the ice cream coconut balls extremely dry and crumbly.
Consequently, the result was an epic fail. I did top with strawberry syrup, however in vain. The texture of the ice cream coconut balls was ruined for life.
Second attempt shall be documented soon – stay tuned!
