When I first discovered the existence of cornbread, I felt immediately captivated by its sweet-salty flavor and fluffy texture. Since then, cornbread is a staple for every holiday meal we cook. Air Fried Cornbread Muffins are an easy alternative to a loaf of cornbread as they give the option of individual portions for the holiday meals.
What will you need for cooking these cornbread muffins you may ask?
Well, as we calling them muffins, logically you would need to prepare muffin cups. I love using the silicone muffin cups as they are extra easy to clean and handle. You can alternatively, of course, use disposable paper muffin cups. I do think though that the silicone cups are a great tool to have in your kitchen. You can use them not only for muffins, but for other more creative cooking ideas such as Air Fried Egg in a Cup.

Needless to mention, using an Air Fryer to cook your side dishes is a great idea. This way, you free up your oven to focus on the main parts – be it turkey, a roast or a ham. Additionally, as all Air fryer operate with a timer, you avoid over-baking your Air Fried Cornbread Muffins. Last but not least, the clean-up time and effort are minimal.
